  1. Get your ticket

    Where to buy

    • Digitally, through the supported Campania ticket apps
    • On paper, at authorised SITA sales points

    Optional: the COSTIERASITA tourist ticket costs €10 and is valid for 24 hours from first validation, with unlimited SITA Sud travel in the listed Amalfi Coast and Sorrento-area municipalities. It is personal and non-transferable, and must be validated on first use. Useful if you are making several SITA journeys, but not necessarily the cheapest ticket for a single trip.

  2. Go to the boarding point

    Positano. Current SITA schedules show services toward Praiano and Amalfi at Positano (Chiesa Nuova) and Positano (Sponda) — which one you use depends on where you are and on the current service.

  3. Identify your vehicle

    Check that the bus is operating toward Amalfi before you get on.

  4. Board

    • Check the current departure information, then board the bus running toward Amalfi.
    • Have your ticket ready: you validate or check in as you board.

  5. Validate or activate

    You must validate or activate your ticket on this journey.

    Validate your ticket, or check in with a supported electronic ticket, when you board.

  6. Get off

    Get off in Amalfi. The main central bus arrival and departure area is around Piazza Flavio Gioia.
