SITA Sud / Campania transit ticket

Optional: the COSTIERASITA tourist ticket costs €10 and is valid for 24 hours from first validation. It allows unlimited SITA Sud travel in the listed Amalfi Coast and Sorrento-area municipalities, including Amalfi and Positano. It is personal and non-transferable, and must be validated on first use. It is worth considering if you are making several SITA journeys, but it is not necessarily the cheapest ticket for a single trip.

Central Amalfi. The main bus passenger area is around Piazza Flavio Gioia.

• Look for a SITA Sud bus showing a destination toward Positano or Sorrento.
• The destination displayed on the bus is what identifies the service, so read it before you get on.

• Check the current departure information, then board the bus running toward Positano / Sorrento.
• Have your ticket ready: you validate or check in as you board.

You must validate or activate your ticket on this journey.

• Validate your ticket at the beginning of the journey.
• If you are using a supported electronic ticket, check in when you board.

• Positano is served by more than one SITA stop, including Positano (Sponda) and Positano (Chiesa Nuova).
• Pick the stop that suits your destination, and confirm it against the service you are on — not every service necessarily calls at every stop.
